Operation Christmas Child

Today, the kids turned in their Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. They enjoy this yearly tradition and don't even ask for gifts for themselves anymore. We take an hour or so at the store and they get to pick out everything for their child. I pray that I am teaching them how to be more like Jesus in this holiday season. It is better to give than to receive!

Pumpkin Carving with Miss M

This girl...

This girl REALLY knows how to pull a guilt trip! She loves to look at my scrapbooks and just noticed last Sunday that she's not in ANY of them! She has 3 pages complete in her baby book and the only picture of her is her sonogram. She looked at me with those pitiful eyes and said, "Mommy, when are you going to finish my baby book?" What could I say?! I'm going to finish it within the next year...I promise! I need to. I always said I would and I WILL! I'm also going to pick back up with this blog so that I can keep future record for my loves! Family history is precious and important and I want to give that gift to my children!
